This notice covers the Moonfolk coming-soon website and messages you choose to send to its operator. Moonfolk is in development for Mac. The app’s planned local-first approach is separate from the network requests needed to display this website.
Who is responsible
The website operator and data controller is Matyáš Kopa, a sole trader registered in the Czech Trade Licensing Register, business identification number (IČO) 29876991, with registered office at Nový Malín 673, 788 03 Nový Malín, Czech Republic.

A visit without a profile
The website has no advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts, session recording, account registration, or email sign-up form. It does not set cookies or use persistent browser storage. Scene and motion choices stay in the current page’s memory and are not sent as a visitor profile.
Images, fonts, and scripts are served with the website. It does not request access to your files, camera, or microphone. Links to other websites open services with their own privacy information.
Website delivery and security
Hostinger is the selected hosting provider. When this website is served through Hostinger, its servers process the technical information needed to deliver it. Access and error logs can include your IP address, request time, requested resource, browser and device information, response status, and approximate country derived from the IP address. Hosting tools can summarise these requests.
The purpose is to deliver the website, diagnose faults, and detect or investigate misuse. The legal basis is the operator’s legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical request information is necessary for delivery; without it, the server cannot send the page to your browser.
Hostinger processes hosting data on the operator’s behalf. Hosting and infrastructure subprocessors may also receive the data needed for their services. Hostinger’s Data Processing Addendum describes these arrangements and safeguards for applicable transfers outside the European Economic Area, including standard contractual clauses. Contact the operator for information about the safeguards relevant to your data or a copy of them.
If you get in touch
If you email, the operator processes the contact details and message you provide to answer you and follow up on your request. Email and communications providers process the correspondence needed to deliver it. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry.
For general enquiries, the basis is the legitimate interest in responding to correspondence. If you request steps toward a contract, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Providing contact details is voluntary, but without a way to reply the operator may be unable to answer. Contacting the operator does not subscribe you to marketing or launch updates.
How long information is kept
Technical records are retained according to the hosting service’s applicable settings and the time needed to investigate delivery faults, security incidents, or misuse. Any records kept for a specific incident are limited to what is needed to resolve it and address resulting legal claims.
Correspondence is kept while an enquiry and its follow-up remain open. Afterwards, only information needed to meet an applicable legal duty or establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim is retained for that purpose. Retention depends on the subject of the correspondence and any relevant legal time limit. Contact the operator for the retention information applicable to a particular request.
Your choices and rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract. The website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects or build marketing profiles.
Send requests to contact@getmoonfolk.com. The operator may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You can also complain to a competent supervisory authority, including the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).
If the website changes
This notice will be updated before a waitlist, optional measurement, or other new data processing is introduced. Any consent required for an optional feature will be requested before it is used.
